Summary
The Wendel Heights (northern unsurfaced portion of Wendel Drive) petition is sufficient as it meets the requirements of the Muncipal Government Act and Parkland County Country Residential Road Surfacing Policy EN 001.

Sections 224 and 225 of the Municipal Government Act provide the legislated requirement for a petition and the counting of petitioners. Section 226 of the Municipal Government Act compels the Chief Administrative Officer to make a report to Council on the sufficiency of a petition.
Country Residential Road Surfacing Policy EN 001 allows Administration to consider the surfacing of roadways in a residential subdivision where development has occurred on at least 50% of the properties, and residents submit a sufficient petition signed by at least two-thirds of the property owners that hold at least one-half the value of property asessments for that subdivision.
