Purpose
For the Committee to approve the Wabamun Lake Ad Hoc Committee Terms of Reference, so that the Committee may proceed immediately.
Summary
Administration recently met with the Chief Administrative Officers/Administrators from the municipalities surrounding Wabamun Lake to discuss various matters. As a result of the discussions it was apparent that there is a growing need for a temporary boat launch, a review of options for undeveloped access points around Wabamun Lake, a proposal for nutrient loading bylaw opportunities, and education for residents on Council supported committee recommendations. The Committee will review these matters and provide recommendations to Council for consideration in 2016. Approved recommendations would occur in the spring of 2017.
