Purpose
To close a portion of undeveloped road allowance for the purpose of sale and consolidation into private title.
Summary
The landowner of Plan 2443AE, Block 6, Lot B has made request to Parkland County for the closure of an adjacent road as identified in Bylaw 2016-18. The purpose of the request is for sale and consolidation into private title to allow for compliance to building setback requirements.
An internal Parkland County circulation and notification to Alberta Transportation have been completed with no concerns identified. Adjacent landowners have been notified with the offer of a shared purchase. No interest was expressed.

The request complies with Section 22 (4) and Section 606 of the Municipal Government Act as well as County's Road Allowance and Diversions - Sales, Lease or Permitting Policy EN 009.
Financial Impact:
Revenue: Lands sold at Fair Market Value and will generate future tax revenue for the County.
