That the Committee approves the proposed Parkland County Waste Transfer Station hours of operation to be from 8:00 a.m. to 7:45 p.m.

Purpose
Adjusting the hours of operation on Thursdays to provide residents better access to services at a convenient time.
Summary
In May of 2016 the Thursday hours of operation at the Parkland County Transfer Station changed to 7:00 am - 6:45 pm. Since the inception of that change, statistical analysis and staff feedback found that the time frame between 7:00 am and 8:00 am was being under-utilized by residents. Additionally, many residents are lined up at the gates when the facility closes at 6:45 pm. It was determined that a shift of 60 minutes on the first and last hour of operation (8:00 am-7:45 pm) will provide service to a greater number of residents.
