Body
Administration Recommendation

Purpose
Council previously approved the City of Spruce Grove's 2016 Capital Cost Share request for a specific list of items, this is an additional request being presented for Council's consideration and approval.
Summary
At their October 13, 2015 meeting, Council approved the City of Spruce Grove's 2016 Capital Cost Share request to fund electrical upgrades and carpet installation, of which Parkland County's contribution was $26,763. Upon completion of the work, these projects came in under budget, reducing the County's contribution to $14,284.40. Early in 2016, the City of Spruce Grove identified an opportunity to improve the accessibility to the lower dressing room area of the Grant Fuhr Arena by installing a wheelchair lift. They proceeded with the installation in an attempt to make the facility more barrier-free as a whole, but because this item was identified outside of the budget process it was not captured in their initial request. As the initially requested cost share items came in under budget, this request could be funded without any further impact to the 2016 budget.
