Proposed Motion
That Council approve Blueberry Community League's emergent request to provide $17,000 of the previously approved $20,900 for roofing repairs in the 2016 budget, to be funded from Restricted Surplus - Recreation Facilities.

Purpose
Due to an emergent need with regards to Blueberry Community League's roof, this request is being presented to Council for approval.
Summary
At their August 23, 2016 meeting, Council approved Blueberry Community League's Sustainability - Major Capital Grant application in the amount of $20,900 to replace their roof, furnaces and hot water tank. Since that approval, and due to the abnormal rainfall experienced in August, the roof has deteriorated faster than anticipated. This has caused significant damage to the ceiling and other interior components of the hall and the roof needs to be replaced immediately before more damage occurs. A contractor is available and can replace the roof in short order, should funding be secured. In order to facilitate this, Blueberry Community League is requesting that $17,000 of the $20,900 be provided in 2016 with the remainder being provided in 2017 when the other items are completed.
