Proposed Motion

That Council approve Ron Hageman's request to develop a trail on Park Reserve 2883 KS/1/7 P, as presented.

Administration Recommendation

Based on feedback received from area residents, administration is recommending that the motion not be approved as presented.

 

Purpose

As per Policy RP001 Municipal Reserve - Recreational Uses, this request is being presented to Council for approval.

 

Summary

Administration received a request from Mr. Ron Hageman for permission to develop a pedestrian trail through a Park Reserve in the Rich's Point subdivision.  Mr. Hageman has followed the process outlined in Policy RP001 and has submitted his request to administration.  As there was not sufficient input received by area residents, administration conducted a mailout to garner more feedback from residents with regards to their level of support for the request.  Based on the feedback received and after reviewing all of the information, administration is not recommending that approval be given at this time.  Further details, are outlined in the Administrative Report which is attached, along with all supporting documentation.
