Purpose
As outlined in Policy C-RP14 Not for Profit Organization Funding, Council provides final approval on all funding allocations.
Summary
In 2016, Council approved changes to Policy C-RP14 Not for Profit Organization Funding. Based on the number of changes to the grant in terms of eligibility, funding streams and the applications, Administrations hosted four workshops to provide support to organizations intending to apply. In total, 37 applications were received with a total request of just over $245,000. Administration thoroughly reviewed the applications and is recommending that $70,975.17 be allocated as per the attached spreadsheet. Also attached is a summary sheet for each of the 37 applications, providing rationale for the recommendations.
