Purpose

To rescind Bylaw 2015-03 To Provide For Compulsory Tax Installment Payments For Designated Manufactured Homes In A Manufactured Home Community to be fair and equitable to all Parkland County residents.

Summary

On January 13, 2015, Council passed Bylaw 2015-03 that required compulsory tax installment payments for designated manufactured homes in a manufactured home community, and established three installment methods for residents to pay their annual property taxes. Only one installment option is available to other Parkland County residents. Rescinding this bylaw will ensure all Parkland County residents are treated consistently regarding installment options for paying their property taxes.
