Administration Recommendation(s)

Administration supports Bylaw 2017-17, an amendment to Land Use Bylaw 20-2009, as presented.

 

Purpose

To amend Map 9 and 9A of Land Use Bylaw 20-2009 for Plan 1720470, Block 1, Lot 21. The amendment proposes to redistrict the parcel from BI- Business Industrial District and AGR-Agriculture Restricted District to PC-Conservation District .

 

Summary

In November 2016, Council directed Administration to enter into and fulfill an agreement with Panattoni Development Company (Highlands Business Park GP) for the dedication of Municipal Reserve lands in Acheson. The agreement was executed in December 2016, and the parcel was transferred to the County in March 2017. The proposed redistricting will align the parcel's districting with its intended conservation use.
