Proposed Motion
That Council Member AnnLisa Jensen be authorized to participate in the appointed Federation of Canadian Municipalities Committees, as presented.

Purpose
On June 14, 2016 Council authorized Council Member AnnLisa Jensen to accept up to two (2) committee placements through an application process with the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM). Council Member Jensen has been appointed by FCM to serve on more than two (2) committees, and it would be in order for Council to further authorize Council Member Jensen to participate in more than two (2) placements.
Summary
In reference to a motion made by Council at a regular meeting of Council on June 14, 2016, Council authorized Council Member AnnLisa Jensen to put forward four (4) FCM Committee Placement Applications, and that Council Member AnnLisa Jensen be permitted to accept up to two (2) committee placements. Council Member Jensen has been appointed by FCM to serve on an excess of two (2) FCM Committees, as follows:
- Prairies/Territories Regional Caucus
- Committee of the Whole
- Standing Committee on Environmental Issues and Sustainable Development
- Standing Committee on Social-Economic Development
- Standing Committee on Women's Participation in Local Government
As Council Member Jensen has been appointed to more than two (2) FCM Committees, a resolution of Council authorizing Council Member to participate on the appointed FCM Committees would be in order to allow for Council Member Jensen to attend more than two FCM Committees.
