Purpose

Administration is presenting the final draft of the Parkland Alive 2025 - Parks, Recreation and Culture Master Plan.

 

Summary

Parkland Alive 2025 - Parks, Recreation and Culture Master Plan provides recommendations with regards to the long term direction of the parks, recreation and culture service areas.  As part of the 2018 workplan, Administration has been tasked with developing an implementation plan for Council's consideration and approval.  This implementation plan will align to Council's Strategic Plan, and if approved, will align to budget and business planning processes.

 

Administration is presenting the plan for Council to accept as information, and seeking direction to present the draft implementation plan at the September 4, 2018 Committee of the Whole Meeting.
