Title: Entwistle Pool and Community Hub Proposed Motions 1. That Council approve up to $9,300,000 for the Entwistle Pool and Community Hub; and 2. That Council approve the transfer of $790,000 from Future Operating Restricted Surplus to the Recreation Facilities Restricted Surplus; and 3. Entwistle Pool and Community Hub

Proposed Motions
1. That Council approve up to $9,300,000 for the Entwistle Pool and Community Hub; and
2. That Council approve the transfer of $790,000 from Future Operating Restricted Surplus to the Recreation Facilities Restricted Surplus; and

4. That Council direct Administration to bring forward a borrowing bylaw for first reading at the May 22, 2018 Council Meeting for up to $5,300,000; and

Purpose
Administration is seeking Council’s direction with regards to the Entwistle Pool and Community Hub.

Summary
Over the past nine years, four studies have been done to provide recommendations on the Entwistle Pool. Administration has reviewed all of the documents and feasibility studies and is recommending, for Council's consideration, the construction of a new outdoor pool and multi-purpose community hub. Further details are included in the Administrative Report and Program Statement which are attached. Due to the tight timelines, additional information including updated preliminary design drawings, are being provided at the Council Meeting.
