Purpose
To provide Council with the final Parkland County and Yellowhead County Intermunicipal Collaboration Framework (ICF) Bylaw.
Summary
On July 10, 2018, Council gave Bylaw 2018-16 first and second reading. Administration is recommending that Council consider giving the ICF Bylaw 2018-16 third and final reading.
Strategic Plan/Policy/Legal/Staff Implications:
Approval of the Parkland County and Yellowhead County ICF Bylaw 2018-16 will ensure compliance with Municipal Government Act (MGA) Section 708.28. Approval of the Bylaw is not deemed complete until parties to the ICF have also adopted an Intermunicipal Development Plan (IDP). Once the Parkland County / Yellowhead County IDP has been given third and final reading, the ICF may be given third and final reading and will be deemed complete.
