Administration supports the proposed motions.
Purpose
To provide Council with the final Parkland County and Village of Spring Lake Intermunicipal Collaboration Framework (ICF) Bylaw.
Summary
The Parkland County and Village of Spring Lake ICF Bylaw 2018-23 is being presented to Council for first and second reading as required by the Government of Alberta under Municipal Government Act (MGA) Section 708.28.
Strategic Plan/Policy/Legal/Staff Implications:
Third and final reading of ICF Bylaw 2018-23 will require Council approval of the Parkland County / Village of Spring Lake Intermunicipal Development Plan (IDP). Administration is expecting to complete the IDP in fall 2018. Once the Parkland County / Village of Spring Lake IDP is completed, Administration will present the IDP and ICF Bylaw 2018-23 to Council for third and final reading.
