Purpose
That Council evaluate and assess committee and board appointments, discuss Council's involvement, and review the Council Code of Conduct pertaining to involvement on boards and committees.
Summary
In 2018 a review of Boards and Committees was conducted. The purpose of the review was an exercise to give opportunity for a comprehensive discussion and evaluation of each Board and Committee that Council has been appointed to, and to make an informed decision on appointments and levels of commitment moving forward. The continued evaluation creates discussion and awareness to meet Council goals set out in the Strategic Plan.
Administration has selected boards and committees for review at this meeting and future scheduled Committee of the Whole meetings. At the March 5th Committee of the Whole meeting, administration will present the following boards/committees that members of Council have been appointed to:

Edmonton Metropolitan Region Board Agricultural Master Plan (RAMP) Task Force
Edmonton Metropolitan Region Board Regional Transit Service Commission
Regional Transit Service Commission Transition Team
