Body
The purpose of these awards is to recognize and celebrate Parkland County's residents, businesses, schools, agricultural producers, and youth which have integrated measures that advance environmental sustainability in their lives and to celebrate the initiatives that have had a major positive impact on Parkland County's environment.
Parkland County recognizes that becoming a sustainable community is a challenging proposition, and that doing so will require the concerted efforts of the County and other key segments of our community. Accordingly, Parkland County Council shall make award presentations to residents, businesses, youth, schools and agricultural producers to recognize their outstanding contributions to increasing Parkland County's sustainable livability.
