Purpose
Administration is committed to providing Council with regular progress updates on the Hamlet Revitalization Strategy.
Summary
The Hamlet Reinvestment Strategy has been in development since 2018.
The project team has been working through four project stages (service level baseline, strategic framework, service standards and work plan for reinvestment).
Since an internal steering committee completed a baseline of current service levels and the Community Sustainability Committee proposed strategic framework, administration has brought in MNP LLP to develop a communications plan (including a public engagement plan) and assist with completing major project deliverables.
An analysis of service areas has been completed and a framework for prioritizing them for future public engagement and strategy development has been produced.
Updates have also been made to the public engagement plan and timeline based on this analysis.
