Purpose
The Chief Administrative Officers (CAOs) and Integration Consultant, Tantus Solutions, are presenting to all three Councils in the Tri-Municipal Region an interim progress update on the development of the Tri-Municipal Regional Plan (TMRP).
Summary
Since April 2019, collaborative work has been undertaken by the City of Spruce Grove, Parkland County, and the Town of Stony Plain in the development of the Tri-Municipal Regional Plan. In total, 11 consulting firms are working together with representatives from each municipality on eight sub-strategies that will be integrated into the Tri-Municipal Regional Plan report, which is anticipated to be completed in June 2021. Council presentations on the initiative’s progress were made to the City of Spruce Grove and the Town of Stony Plain on April 12, 2021. Once the report is completed, formal presentations will be made to all three Councils in June 2021.
