3.  That Bylaw 2021-13 be presented at this meeting for third reading.

4.  That Bylaw 2021-13 receive third and final reading.

5.  That Council approve authorization of electronic signature for Bylaw 2021-13 in accordance with Section 213 of the Municipal Government Act.

Administration supports the proposed motions.

 

Purpose

A legislative review of the Wabamun bylaws to harmonize these bylaws within the context of other governing legislation in Parkland County.

 

Summary

In accordance with Order in Council 386/2020 effective January 1, 2021 the Village of Wabamun was dissolved and the former area of the village designated as a hamlet in Parkland County.  Under the provisions of Order in Council 386/2020 bylaws and resolutions of the former area of the village continue to apply until the bylaws or resolutions are repealed, amended or replaced by the Council of Parkland County.
