Purpose

The Chief Administrative Officers (CAOs) and Integration Consultant, Tantus Solutions, are presenting to all three Councils in the Tri-Municipal Region the Tri-Municipal Regional Plan (TMRP) report.

Summary

The Tri-Municipal Regional Plan report marks an important milestone in the collaborative work that Parkland County, the City of Spruce Grove, and the Town of Stony Plain have undertaken on this initiative. Since signing a joint letter of intent together in January 2019 to develop the plan, this initiative further symbolizes the strong history of partnership and collaboration in the Tri-Municipal Region and is representative of the many significant projects and initiatives all three municipalities have successfully collaborated on in the past.

Altogether, 11 consulting firms worked together with representatives from the three municipalities on the development of the integrated Tri-Municipal Regional Plan report. On June 22, 2021, the completed report is being presented to Parkland County Council and the City of Spruce Grove Council.
