That Council appoint inspectors for the year 2022 pursuant to Section 7(1) of the Weed Control Act and Section 10(1) of the Agricultural Pests Act.

Purpose
These appointments allow the inspectors to enter private property, in the discharge of their duties, without the landowners consent.
Summary
These appointments are required on a yearly basis and will expire at the end of the employment contract. Precautions will be taken by all staff when entering private property to ensure that all equipment, etc. will be clean before entering or leaving a field. Council approved appointments of the 2022 Weed and Crop Inspectors at the April 26, 2022 Council meeting. The appointments presented today are the names of those who fill the vacancies to complete the full recruitment for the 2022 Weed and Crop Inspectors.
