Summary
Magnolia Community Club is an active community league, hosting many events both outdoor and indoors. The hall was built in 1973 and an addition was added in 1985. Although the hall is in reasonably good shape, the Expected Useful Life (EUL) of many of the components of the hall is nearing the end of its life span. As part of the boards commitment to maintaining and extending the life span of the building, they have planned a large multi-phased project to address numerous items identified in the 2019 Facility Condition Assessment report and have applied for numerous grants in addition to this funding request to make this project a reality. The total estimated cost of the overall project is $525,000. The are seeking support from Parkland County for one phase of the project which has a total estimated cost of $50,281.35 . Additional funding sources have been applied for to cover the remainder of the $525,000 project.
